Using Paypal

PayPal is a money transfer site which allows an individual to send funds to others or make online purchases.
PayPal is a popular site for transferring money online, but learning how to use PayPal will ease transactions. PayPal is an online financial middleman that facilitates the transfer of money between people and businesses online. Users only need to share private financial information with PayPal, not unknown parties. PayPal can be used to buy things online, shop on eBaY, or receive money from friends.
There are three different types of PayPal account – Personal, Premier and Business A PayPal account can receive money as soon as it has been created, but to use it to send money or to buy products online, the user needs to set up a means of getting funds into the account.
Normally the PayPal account is linked to an existing bank account, or to a credit or debit card. Paypal has been subject to scams and security issues which the user needs to be aware of.




    Go to the PayPal Web site (see Resources below).
o     Start the process of signing up for a PayPal account by clicking the "Sign Up Now" button.
o     Select "Premier Account." This is the type of account you want if you are going to use PayPal through eBay.
o     Pick your country from the drop-down menu and click "Continue."
o     Enter your contact information in the provided fields. You will also choose a user ID and password at this time.
o     Read over the user agreement and privacy policy of PayPal by clicking on the links.
o     Click "I Agree. Create My Account."
o     
Open a new window in your browser and go to your email account. PayPal will send you an email to confirm your registration.
o     Find the email from PayPal. Open the email and click on the link provided.
o     Enter the PayPal password you previously selected. You are now the proud owner of a PayPal account.
2.  Use PayPal Through eBay
o     Sign in to your eBay account and click "Auction Tools" (see Resources below).
o     Click "Offer PayPal on All Your Listings."
o     Click "Add" to connect your eBay seller's account to your PayPal account.
o     Type in your eBay user ID and password and then click "Add."
o     Find the "Automatic Logo Insertion" box. Click on the circle in the box beside the word "Off."
o     Click "On" and then click "Update." Your eBay and PayPal accounts are now linked. You can now use PayPal for all of your eBay auctions.
